Just what an economy struggling with heavy deficits needs - a lower corporate tax rate - but then Obama is running for re-election. This only works in the fantasyland in which Obama & Geithner live, in which Republicans will follow the president's lead & not undercut him. I wonder what our good friend, Rep. Michael Grimm (R-SI), will have to say about the American taxpayer not being an ATM for corporate welfare. But I guess Mr. Grimm believes in fairy tales.

McClone plays both sides against Obama again

There must be something permeating the drinking water in Arizona. The McClone campaign criticized Sen. Obama for cancelling a visit with wounded troops in Germany. And Arizona's other senator, Jon Kyle, immediately hopped on the anti-Obama defamation bandwagon. It's almost certain that these same fools would have criticized him if he had visited the troops. Can't you hear it now: "He's exploiting the troops for campaign purposes." I'll bet the McClone campaign had two possible TV ads prepared, one if he went to visit the troops and one if he didn't.

If after his behavior this past week anyone still takes McClone seriously as a potential president, we are in deeper shit than even I thought.

The Clinton lies keep coming

The lies from Se. Clinton seem to keep coming.

In Phila. today, before comparing herself to Rocky she said: "Sen. Obama says he's getting tired of the campaign." Then she compared herself to Rocky claiming she too wouldn't quit.

But here's what Obama actually said Saturday about her staying in the race:

My attitude is that Senator Clinton can run as long as she wants. Her name is on the ballot. She is a fierce and formidable opponent and she obviously believes she would make the best nominee and the best president.

After nearly eight years of the Bush-Cheney lies factory, it's time for some truth from lour leaders.
