For the 5th year Blackout Arts Collective has organized the Lyrics On Lockdown National Tour. The tour has traveled to over 25 visits in the last five years using the arts and culture to build awareness about the impact of the Prison Industrial Complex on communities of color. Join us to hear for a roundtable discussion with Blackout artists-organizers and local anti-prison organizers discussing the impact of the tour and the role of the arts and culture in mobilizing a movement to halt the expansion of the Prison Industrial Complex.
