Vanity Fair says it will publish my letter. So here's a preview of the full text in case they chop it up too much and also their letter to me.
Dear Mr. Cohen:
Vanity Fair has tentatively selected your letter to the editor for publication in our May issue, as part of the V.F. Mailbag section. It has been edited for length, and in the case of unforeseen space constraints, could be cut entirely. Thanks so much for your interest in the magazine.
