NBC caves into to political pressure again

Last week NBC caved in to the religious right and eliminated the Madonna on the cross image from her concert. Now here's the latest NBC political censorship from Liz Smith's column (NYP, Nov. 1):

"With the president's approval ratings at an all-time low, that still doesn't cut any ice with NBC, which has refused to advertise the [Dixie] Chicks' new documentary, Shut Up & Sing. The network says the Chicks 'disparaged President Bush.' When did NBC jump into the president's back pocket?! The network that is afraid to show Madonna on the cross...is now heavy into censorship, fearful of its advertisers."
