June 1: Protest Israeli attack on Gaza Freedom Flotilla

Protest Israeli Attack on Gaza Freedom Flotilla

June 1, 5 PM
Assemble at the Israeli Consulate, 42nd St & 2nd Ave

Planned route: After rally at the Israeli Consulate,
march across 42nd St to Grand Central,
and then to Times Square.
Protest expected to last until approximately 7 pm.

We still don't know the names of the dead or wounded; the surviving activists are not being allowed to communicate to the outside world. Pres. Obama "deeply regrets the loss of life" but has made no suggestion that there be any consequences to Israel for its deadly attack on the flotilla in international waters. Gaza remains under siege.

WE WILL NOT BE SILENT. NOW IS THE TIME TO COME OUT!!!

ADDITIONAL ACTION TO TAKE TODAY!

CALL the U.S. State Department (+1 202-647-4000, x 1) and the US Consulate in Jerusalem (+972 2 622 7207/21/30) and DEMAND that the U.S. Government take immediate action to safeguard innocent lives!

CALL White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel (+1 202 456 6798) and DEMAND that the Obama Administration support the creation of an unbiased international commission to investigate and hold the Israeli government accountable for the murder of unarmed civilians!
