THE PEACE TASK FORCE OF ALL SOULS CHURCH in collaboration with NOT IN OUR NAME’S “RESISTANCE CINEMA “ series, presents:
“STRATEGIC OMISSIONS The Truth Behind The Health Effects After 9/11”: (90 min, 2005) a documentary film by Heidi Dehncke-Fisher and Gordon Skinner.
There will be a post screening discussion introduced by special guest Congressman JERROLD NADLER (Dem. 8th district)
The collapse of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center released 2,358 toxins into the air. These toxins are known to cause asthma and upper respiratory allergies and those exposed to them are at heightened risk for numerous cancers. “Strategic Omissions” investigates the impact of 9/11 on the health of rescue workers and lower Manhattan residents and unearths the political cover-up of the findings of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Panelists will include the filmakers, health professionals, environmental experts, rescue workers and jornalists.
