It is SO awesome that Slumdog Millionaire won a Golden Globe. At least one critic said it's a lock for an Oscar (from his lips to god's ears...). I have seldom seen a film that I wished so much would win. Poor India deserves it.

I agree. I'm about to publish a review of Slumdog. I rooted for it at the Golden Globes and it certainly deserves an Oscar.
