On July 30th, 7:00 P.M.
a celebration of the Cuban revolution will be held in New York City marking the 52nd anniversary of the 1953 attack on the Moncada Barracks that launched the armed struggle that led to the overthrow of the Batista regime.

The event will be held at Local 1199 SEIU Martin Luther King Auditorium, 310 W 43rd Street, beginning at 7:00 PM. Tickets are sold at the door for $10 which includes a Latino dinner.

Many organizations including the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism are co-sponsoring a celebratory program of music, dance, and guest speakers, including the representative of the Cuban Mission to the United Nations.
This important event is a show of solidarity with our sisters and brothers in Cuba who have withstood imperialist assaults from our government for more than 5 decades.
