What do Anthrax, Ebola, HIV/AIDS and SARS have in common? They are all deadly viruses and bacteria that could be studied at the kinds of bio-research labs proposed in the Columbia University expansion in our neighborhood.

WE ACT for Environmental Justice presents
a community "teach-in" about bio-research labs:
Are they safe? Who regulates them and how can communities organize to hold them accountable? We should not be left in the dark, when our lives and the lives of our families are at risk.
